Kicking Records is putting out a tribute to Les Sheriff a punk rock band from Montpellier (Fr) who played in the 80's and 90's.  
We're playing a cover of the track "Tic Tac" from their album AllegroTurbo.
Also on this record: The Black Zombie Procession , The Ronnie Rockets, Hellbats, High School Motherfuckers, ISP, Generic, Rebel Assholes, Tagada Jones, Guerilla Poubelle... 21 covers and an unreleased track.

It's a co-production with Kérosène who's getting back in business 2 years after the fanzine ended.

We won't play during the summer but we'll hit the road again in september. We'll tour with hungary's The Joystix in october. Half of their shows will be with Flying Donuts, the other half with our other band The Black Zombie Procession.

Vulgaires Machins will be back in autumn, don't miss it !

We love updates so let's go:

- The Flying Donuts / The Joystix split CD is now available. Each band plays 5 new and unreleased tracks and you can order it now. It will hit the stores on april the 16th 2007 (José records / Kicking records / distribution by Season Of Myst). The bands will tour together in october.

- The newest compilation from our friend Lucas Trouble a.k.a. Kaiser just got out. It's called "The Kaiser Saves The Parisian Rock" and is available through us on our merch stand at our shows and also in stores (Nova Express / distributed by Productions Spéciales). Only unreleased tracks by bands such as Brassen's not Dead, Vibromaniacs, Whodunit, Mole Ferver, The Dirteez and Flying Donuts.

- A very bad news for independant now, our distributor Overcome Records puts an end to its activities. The record industry being what it is they can non longer keep on doing their good work. R.I.P.

- New T-shirts are available. You can get them at our shows before we put them online. You can also find some new silk-screen stickers available in medium (A4) or large (A3). You can order them here.

- Lot of gigs as usual, in France and in Eastern Europe in may.

Kaiser Compilation

Sorry for being late with this update...

- The biggest news is the first album from The Black Zombie Procession going out. It's available here on CD and LP (picture disc) and distributed by Overcome. The band is formed by two Flying Donuts members: the Dalstein bros (playing the bass & the drums) and two former Second Rate members: Nasty Samy (also playing in Hellbats, Hawaii Samurai & Lost Cowboy Heroes) and Sylvain Bombled (also playing in Generic).

- Flying Donuts will record 5 new tracks in january with Fred Gramage at Loko Studio - France.

- These 5 tracks will appear on a split with The Joystix (punk rock glam from Hungary). Their excellent first album is available trough Shotgun Generation records.

- This split will be out on CD on José rds and Kicking rds and distributed by Overcome.
We're looking for a label to put it out on LP... If you're interested, just let us know.

- We'll also record a cover that will appear on a tribute to Les Shériff. It will be out in 2007, also on Kicking rds.

- The end of the year is coming quick and we would like to thank everyone (bands, organisations radios, labels) who supported us for the album and the 60 gigs which followed. We'll still be here in 2007, contact us if you want to book a show.

Hi everyone !

- The video clip of our track "Back Off", directed by David Basso, is now available here. And it's free !

- We'll spend a lot of time on the road until the end of the year. Mostly in France, but in The U.K. as well. Check out the dates.

- We're working on new tracks to be recorded in january by our dear friend Fred Gramage at Studio Pôle Nord in Blois. This new release should be out in the mid of 2007. We'll tell you more about it very soon.

It's summertime !

- Enjoy sunbathing!!! We will have a short break, shows will start again by the time you all go back to school. Check our concerts page. We will tour from then 'till the end of the year. An English tour is also planned in November.

- The video clip directed by David Basso will be available online in fall.

Hello,

- It's been a long time since the last update. We're spending a lot of time on the road.
Our new album "Renewed Attack" received a warm welcome. It's already been repressed just one week after it first went out. Thanks a lot to everyone supporting us in any way : buying records, coming to the shows, setting up a gig or sending an Email.

- We recorded a new track in march for "The Emo Glam Connection vol 3", a compilation we share with Dead Pop Club, Uncommonmenfrommars, Pookies, Generic and Sexypop. 6 french bands, 6 unreleased tracks and you can see all of us live the 6/6/6 at le Batofar in Paris. Buy a ticket for the show and get the compilation for free !!!

- The vinyl version of "Renewed attack" is now available. Cool cover and picture disc you can order here.

- New merchandising : new T-shirts and new stickers.

- We're going to shoot a video clip this summer which will be directed by David Basso. You will find it online as soon as we get it done.

- Our new album will be out (in France) this week. It will be available on the 15th of march in every good (french) record store, distributed by Overcome. The vinyl version will be out in april on GPS (Switzerland). Bigger cover & picture disc will provide hours of fun just staring at the record... Now try to figure out what it will be like when you wil start listening to it.
2 MP3s are available on our "download" page. You can also find a new track from our album every two weeks on our "my space" page.
We'll be on tour everywhere in France, just check our website to know where and when we're gonna rock your town.

- New stuff (T-shirts, buttons, posters, stickers, postcards...) is now available. Find it at our merch table at our gigs or order it at José rds.
We're also looking for people who could give us a hand for promo (streetmarketing). Send us an email if you wanna help.

The man's also playing in a new band: The Black Zombie Procession. No gigs, studio recordings only. Think Punk Rock - Surf - Pop Punk - with a 70's spirit. Find a track here to hear what it sounds like. It's taken from a split 7" that will be out in september on Sweet Jeanne Prod. Flying Donuts' drummer being also The Black Zombie Procession's drummer is the only reason this piece of news is worth being mentioned on the website.
